Combi ﬂashing EK-

The combi ﬂashing system consists of seven basic elements that

make it possible to install from two to any number of roof windows

in combinations side by side or over/under each other. Windows to

be installed side by side must be of the same height and windows

to be installed over/under each other must be of the same width.

The seven basic elements have numbers referring to the last

number in the variant code of the ﬂashing. Thus, EKW M08 0002

is the middle ﬂashing element in the bottom row.

Distance "a" refers to the distance between the side frames

whereas distance "b" refers to the distance between top and bot-

tom frames.

The distance "a" is as standard 100 mm, but combi ﬂashings can be

ordered as special products with "a" distances from 60 to 400 mm,

with intervals of 10 mm. Distance "b" can only be 100 or 250 mm.

The distances must be stated when ordering the ﬂashing. They will

be included on the ﬂashing carton for conﬁrmation.

Note! If "a" is less than 100 mm, the windows must be installed

with special brackets that are supplied with the ﬂashing. Otherwise

the standard brackets supplied with the window should be used.

To allow for subsequent installation of a roller shutter on the

window, the distance "a" must be min 100 mm and "b" must be

250 mm.

As standard components, elements 1 and 3 are delivered together

in one carton under the variant code 0021 since both parts are

required irrespective of the numbers of windows being combined.
